From in-person card sorts to automated usability testing, Chantal Foster will highlight practical strategies to "get closer to your users" in spite of deadlines and project politics. The session will include photos and results from both in-person and online card sorts conducted with CNM, UNM, and Creative Albuquerque as well as the recommended information architecture resulting from these studies. Usability tests conducted with APS and CNM will presented. Chantal will demonstrate the use of OptimalSort.com and Loop11.com and provide live card sorts for attendees to view and/or participate in.
